I’m joining Novels and Nonfiction again with sharing my favourite posts of the week. So, grab yourself a coffee, (or tea) a comfy chair and come and have a browse with me.

The Geeky Bibliophile – Shunned: How I Lost my Religion and Found Myself by Linda Curtis
Chocolate ‘n’ Waffles – Sing for your life – Annie’s Summer By the Sea by Liz Eeles
Me and My Books – Spring at The End of The Pier – Helen Rolfe
Swirl & Thread – The Friendship Cure by Kate Leaver
I’ve read some fab posts from book bloggers
Books, Vertigo & Tea – What Makes a Successful Protagonist?
Teacher of YA’s Book Blog – To Megan…A Dedication
BookBum – The BookBum Club: – April Theme
The Book Review Cafe – A Day with Author Michael Wood
On The Blog This Week:
I started off the week by posting a music video for Music Monday. On Tuesday I shared ten Books That Take Place in a Different Country for Top Ten Tuesday. On Wednesday it was time for another look at my current reads with WWW Wednesdays! On Thursday I blogged twice, with my choice for Throwback Thursday and my audiobook review of Station Eleven. On Friday I posted my March Wrap & Favourite Books of the Month. On Saturday I posted my regular Stacking the Shelves post and also joined in with the I Spy Book Challenge Book Tag.
Finally some other links from across the internet
Suzie Speaks – Why I’m Stepping Away From #SundayBlogShare
BBC News – The woman who gave birth to rabbits (and other hoaxes)
The Guardian – From Top Gun to Stand By Me: Why the 1980s is My Favourite Film Decade
BBC News – Obituary Johan van Hulst, the teacher who saved Jewish children
Thanks for reading and have a lovely Sunday 🙂
I didn’t even know about the Sunday Blog Share tag. Worst blogger ever, me 🤣
But I can see why it would stop working. Newbies, yes. Those annoying entitled folks who take credit for everything that’s not their idea. And the spammers. It’s on Instagram as well, people abusing the tags like crazy. Some days I really hate the internet. /old person

It’s horrible how things tend to go online sometimes I feel the same way 😣

You’re very welcome. Those hoax stories are very strange especially the one about the rabbits! 😀

Thank you Nicki! I didn’t know about that hashtag and still don’t completely understand how they can make it as if it’s their own but it’s really shameful that someone else takes credit for everything you do, and to do so deliberately is even worse! Thanks for this week’s links. You’ve had a busy blogging week as well!!

I know I was really shocked as well. It has been busy but good fun too 🙂

Interesting as always Nicki.
I hadn’t realised that someone could own a hashtag. I usually forget to use them!

Thanks I don’t always remember either!

I didn’t know about Sunday Blog Share either, I’d seen the hash tag, also seen a hashtag for Monday and Tuesday too but I didn’t know it was like “a thing” run by someone. It’s sad that people have made it unpleasant.
And thank for the feature, Nicki 💜

I tend to avoid hashtags, unless it’s the book title or a promotional hashtag because you just never know these days!

Thanks for sharing. It was interesting to read the post on Suzie Speaks. I can only imagine what an ordeal it would be to keep up with something like running a specific hashtag or sharing feature. I think I tend to shy away from creating memes for some of the mentioned reasons. Thank you always for the post share ❤
