Time to confess all of my bookish sins! I saw this tag on Rattle the Stars and thought it looked fun. It was originally created by A Page of Jenniely. Let’s go…
Questions:
1. Received an ARC and not reviewed it: Yes either because I haven’t read it yet or because I gave up on it and it wouldn’t have been fair to write a review.
2. Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley: No! 🙂
3. Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did): Yes because I completely forgot about it, oops!
4. Folded down the page of a book: I haven’t done that for a very long time
5. Accidentally spilled on a book: Yes! When I’ve been cooking using a library book!!!
6. DNF a book this year: Not as yet!
7. Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it: No I couldn’t afford to do that!
8. Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else : Naturally lol
9. Skim read a book: Yes when it’s too exciting and I want to get to the conclusion.
10. Completely missed your Goodreads goal: Yes a few ago when I bought my tablet my reading went downhill for ages.
11. Borrowed a book and not returned it: Yes I have a couple of books a friend lent me ages ago, which I must return.
12. Broke a book buying ban: I don’t think I’ve ever put myself on a book buying ban, my NetGalley ban on the other hand is not going so well.
3. Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about: Guilty
14. Wrote in a book you were reading: Yes and I wish I hadn’t.
15. Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads: I don’t think so, I’m pretty good at adding books.
If you enjoyed reading this and nodded along to some of my answers consider yourself tagged.
Number 13 is so me. I usually don’t finish the review anymore at that point. I figure if the book was awesome, it wouldn’t have slipped my mind so quickly 😂

NetGalley bans are hard! I’ve tried so many times and failed. My issue is going on, getting excited, requesting and then not hearing anything forever and BOOM! They all get approved on the same date. Nice to know someone else has that issue.

Yes that happened to me just after Christmas. 😄

OMG this is a hilarious tag, yet it makes me feel so much better knowing that I’M NOT ALONE!
LOL!

Wow, I’m not alone! :D. I still have an ARCs from April and one from the summer, kinda forgot about them and almost put them in storage at Xmas 😮 !!! I’ve also left a review too long for a netGalley book which was a PDF file and couldn’t redownload as it became expired – oops 😦

I wish NG would let us know if it’s a PDF before we request, I find them quite hard yo read on my phone or tablet.

Oh so true! I can only look at picture books in PDF, the text always displays too small and i can’t get an app that makes the screen darker so I get a very bright screen. This is such a good tag, I might give it a go 😀

Great tag! I always feel really bad when I receive an ARC and don’t finish it! But, you can’t like them all, and it doesn’t happen often…

What an interesting list! I liked your “wish I didn’t” answer to the question of writing in books. I’m the complete opposite — I love annotating my books 😉 I’m going to “steal” this blog post idea and do it on mine (and obviously link back to your blog!)

First reaction: *gasp* written in a novel?! Slow-mo second reaction: *blushes* when I was in highschool and we had to read some books I wrote with pencil in them and it’s all still there :-). great tag!

I too have a couple of books to which I left a note saying a full review would come soon only to have never gotten back to it… and because it’s been such a long time.. I sort of forgot all the juicy and interesting things I once had to say about it!!! 😦
