Top Ten Tuesday – Backlist Books I Want to Read

ttt-big2

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The rules are simple:

  • Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
  • Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
  • Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
  • Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.

This week’s topic is all about books on your backlist, you know those books you’ve been meaning to read but never seem to get around to.

Recognise any of these? Did they make your list this week?

I was tempted to join in with this one today. Then decided not to because the mere thought of my backlist freaked me out 😄

I recognise quite a few but I’ve only read two. Loved The Sewing Machine!

It’s not on my list but I have a feeling The Sewing Machine should be on my readlist too! I have so many books on my backlist… I have a copy of Gallery of the Dead by Chris Carter that I won and I was so excited about my win but I have to read two books before this one I think… I haven’t even started even though I love this author. It’s definitely going on my list of resolutions!

I am going to get this post soon! As it might help me focus on clearing some of my backlists! Be glad of the prompt lol Jojo Moyes is on my list, but i fear I have things longer than that on my back list!

Bookworm is a gorgeous read, I read it earlier this year and it was a wonderful trip down memory lane. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Be warned though, it made me very nostalgic and I found myself looking through second-hand book websites trying to find editions of books I had as a child but have lost over the years! Oops! 😉

You have just added to my TBR big time. I have only considered two of your list and not heard of the others. I am checking them out on Goodreads to see which ones I need to add to my TBR. Nice list Nicki.
