Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic โ putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that dayโs post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you donโt have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is a freebie so I’ve decided to share my Favourite Book Settings and these are just some of my choices ๐
What Locations or Settings Would Be On Your List? ๐๐๐

For me itโs beaches, beaches, and more beaches ๐ป. But I do enjoy many of the places you listed as well – like London, Paris, and Australia. Great choice for a Top Ten topic!

I live so close to the beach I don’t often think of reading books set there. You’re right it was a great topic this week! ๐

Excellent choices! I would have gone for The Lost Man and The Salt Path as well. They really do stand out in terms of setting. I also have a soft spot for remote, cold places, such as Alaska, Antartica or Siberia.

Thanks and I love your cold choices too!

Love your choices! I like any book that makes me either travel to a place that I’ve been before (brings back memories) or to a place that I haven’t been but want to. Beaches/mountains/nature are a plus and I like small towns, although a big city setting can work really well too. A Nordic setting is always a bonus, but I love Spanish/Latin American settings too.

All great settings Nicki. My ten included a lot of coastal and beach settings, but also Italy and small towns. It is funny how we all had our own take on it.
