My Review

Well this book definitely lived up to all the hype! I actually pre-ordered this back in 2021 when everyone was raving about it.

As the synopsis above says, the story concerns a murder involving the members of an  amateur dramatic society. It’s told through emails, texts and WhatsApp messages between various members of the society. Femi and Charlotte are two Law students charged with working out who was murdered, by whom and why.

I really didn’t like most of the suspects, they came across as very cliquey and up themselves. Basically they felt just like members of an amateur dramatic club! 😂

I guessed part of the mystery quite early on, but kept telling myself that I couldn’t be right as it was too horrible. I had no idea who the murderer was though, as I kept changing my mind when more information was revealed to Femi and Charlotte. I really enjoyed the way the story was told and definitely want to read more by the author.

Highly recommended if you enjoy unusual mysteries told in a very different way.
