Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic β putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that dayβs post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you donβt have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is Favourite Books of 2022. I don’t normally do a favourite books post because I find it too hard to pick them. So these are just some of my favourites from last year.
Which Books Would Be On Your List?

I hope to read my copy of Magpie Lane this year! I’ve seen Wrong Place Wrong Time mentioned a few times (a lot) before so I’m also going to try to read that one! Great list Nicki!

My TBR shelf is going to grow today! I have read four of these and already have 2 on my TBR, but will also be adding Magpie Lane (if I can find the book). Great list Nicki.

I have the audio and ebook of The Bodyguard. I really need to read it. I tried to listen to it at work but I didnβt have my ear buds and quickly realized it was not appropriate to have it so anyone who came into my office could hear it π. Hopefully this year!

They always make me laugh. I think, I prefer Lesley Manville as narrator, though.

Born A Crime made my favorites list a few years ago. I’m still surprised Trevor Noah survived his childhood. It was intense.

I know but I love the way he bantered with his Mum! π
