Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
-
Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic β putting your unique spin on it if you want.
-
Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
-
Add your name to the Linky widget on that dayβs post so that everyone can check out other blogger’s lists.
-
Or if you donβt have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is 2021 Releases I Was Excited to Read, But Didnβt Get To and here are just some of my choices. π
What Have You Added to Your Shelves Recently?
πππ
Snap with Midnight In Everwood, hope you enjoy it when you get to reading it.
Thanks you too!
I love your picks. I hope you read them soon.

Midnight in Everwood nearly made my list, but I got it late in the year so I’m not sure I have procrastinated enough to include it yet π
Same here but I included it anyway π
Own up… you have more than 10 you could have put on your list, don’t you?
(Whisper) I have π±
Of course that why I wrote this was just some of them! π
ooh fab selection! all the best for reading them this year then haha!! xx
Thanks π xx
Great list, Nicki. I have Songbirds and Midnight in Everwood on my TBR, but they didn’t make my list, I had so many to choose from. I just added This Time, Next Year after checking reviews. That is one that was not on my radar.
Brilliant let’s hope we both enjoy it Carla!
I havenβt read Midnight in Everwood yet either.

I’m sure I’ll get to it soon!
Iβm not brave enough to list mineπ Good luck getting to them, Nickiπ
π Thanks Jo!
2 of these were my top books of last year! Helena Merriman and Simon Reeve.
Fantastic!
Ha! There are so many. My top ones are probably True Crime Story and A Slow Fire Burning. Soon. I’ll read them… soon…
I loved A Slow fire Burning!
Looking forward to reading it… when it hits the top of my TBR… π³
I need to read my copy of The Couple at No 9 as well. You made me bump it up my list now! I just started listening to The Last House on Needless Street too. Itβs very strange, I have no idea whatβs going on here… I would list Stuart Turtonβs book Devil in Dark Water, I wanted it so badly and once I had it… you know π
Yes I know Inge! π
I keep seeing Midnight in Everwood everywhere. I really need to read this book.
It’s a retelling of The Nutcracker so it’s been very popular!
The Ashley Weaver series looks like one I’d really like. I need to check it out. I hope you enjoy all these!
Happy TTT!

Thanks!
I don’t know if I’ve heard of any of these books, but I hope that you enjoy reading them when you find the time.

Thanks!
Midnight in Everwood is on my to read list. I was hoping to read The Nutcracker this past winter (I always say that) as a lead in, but didnβt get to it. I loved A Peculiar Combination and hope you will too.
Thanks I’ve been waiting for the audiobook but it’s not turned up yet!
I have Midnight in Everwood too – waiting for me to read it. So many waiting β€οΈ
I hope we both enjoy it!
Midnight in Everwood is also still on my TBR, I got the audiobook and now I’m just waiting for a really cold day so I can cuddle up inside with a cup of hot chocolate and listen to it.
Nice!
