My Review

Oh my goodness this book was so tense and so very creepy right from the start. I rarely read or watch horror but wanted to read Zoe’s debut, especially after reading so many fantastic reviews!

Right from the start I did not want those teenagers going back to the school with a Ouija board. I mean why do that? Everyone knows it’s a bad idea! And of course bad things did indeed happen to them, but not all in one go. Oh no Zoe made sure it happened bit by bit just like in a horror film. I actually had to put this book down for a while because it was too tense for me. I had take a step back and pick it up again when I was ready for whatever was going to come next.

I really liked the friends and loved the banter between them, especially when they were messaging each other. They felt like a real group of friends rather than just characters in the book.

I definitely recommend this one if you enjoy YA horror stories or if you’re looking for a creepy Halloween read this weekend!
