I really enjoy this challenge and signed up again at the beginning of the year. It’s hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words and involves reading books predominantly set in twelve different time periods. I never know what books I’m going to read or listen to, and usually have trouble with some eras, particularly the early ones. This year I didn’t, even though I’ve struggled with my reading mojo, like lots of other people, but I’ve actually finished with a few weeks to spare!! Woohoo!!

I thought you might list Hamnet for the 1500s!

Congratulations on completing this. It’s one of my favourite challenges too so I’m hoping Sam will host it again next year. Already eyeing up books in my TBR pile that will fit…

Fantastic, Nicki! If I had been keeping track of eras I think I’d have a few, but nothing like this list, amazing!

Thanks Kelly it probably helps that I love historical fiction 😀

Ha it probably does 😂 For me it’s still not my main genre but I have been broadening my horizons by reading (and listening to) some fantastic historical fiction this year.

I need to catch up on Eva Dolan’s books. I’ve only read the first book in her crime series.

I love her police procedurals and have just been approved for her latest one on NetGalley!

Brava! I’ll have to bookmark this. The only one I’ve read is Daisy Jones (which I loved)!

I am so impressed! I know I said I tried this challenge in the past but I think I only managed to read 10 books set during the early 20th century. It’s like I didn’t even try. Hah! There are some fantastic books in here too, I need to add some to my TBR.
