20 Books of Summer 2020 – Sign Up Post #20BooksofSummer

my-post

Hosted by Cathy@746books The 20 Books of Summer is a reading challenge from 1 June to 1 September encouraging you to read up to 20 books from your TBR . Cathy herself admits that the rules are very slack and not to worry if you don’t manage to make it. Anyone is welcome to join in the challenge – just pick your 20 books (or 15, or 10) to read over the summer and write a post about them. Then sign up to the page on 746 Books on 1st June! The challenge will run from 1st June to 15 September 2020. You can share your lists and your progress on twitter using #20BooksofSummer

There are a few books here that I’ve been meaning to read for a while, so hopefully I won’t go off this list! πŸ˜‰

      1. Haha very true, we do share very similar reading tastes. I think my list is now done and I have The Flatshare on it, and the rest I have chosen from my NetGalley shelf as well as my own books. I seem to have 9 NetGalley that are past their publication day so I do need to prioritise them xx

  1. Great TBR! I’ve read and loved The Catch, Fifty Fifty, The Courier and The Flatshare of these. I hope you will enjoy all of them! xx

  2. I have my eyes on several of these. I’d love to read and hear more about The Two Lives of Lydia Bird, In Five Years, Fifty Fifty, The Other Passenger and Magpie Lane. Great titles on your list that are totally my cup of tea as well! Happy reading Nicki… I’m sure you’ll nail this. I loved The Flatshare btw!!

  3. Wonderful list! I particularly hope you enjoy The Great Darkness as I love this series. If you do, it does mean of course that you’re going to want to read the next two in the series, The Mathematical Bridge and The Night Raids. I’ve still to read the latter myself. Best of luck to all of us taking part πŸ˜πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ˜

  4. Three cheers for the 20 Books of Summer!
I finished my list over the weekend and will be posting it Wednesday.
Needless to say I am over the moon to see Code Name Helene on your list!! Looking forward to your thoughts on Fifty Fifty as well.
I recently added In Five Years to my TBR list, so I am hoping you enjoy it.
    Happy Summer Reading!!

  5. These all look great Nicki! The only one I’ve read is Code Name Helene. It’s quite the page turner! I had to skim a few grisly passages though. Good luck!

  6. I am going to finish my post this week πŸ™‚ You’ve got a great list – I really liked The catch and I loved 55. I also think we are going to have a few overlapping books πŸ˜€
Happy reading (and/or listening) Nicki x

  7. You have some wonderful books on this list. I hope you get to all of them. I am also trying to knock some off that I have had on my TBR for too long.

      1. Oh dear, sorry – I am truly hopeless at all thsi linking and sharing. Apologies – feel free to delete!

  8. Great list – I have The Flatshare on my list too πŸ˜‰ And a different Matt Haig book! Enjoy your reading this summer πŸ™‚
