Hello and Happy Friday! It’s time to join with Meggy @ Chocolate’n’Waffles again to spread some positivity amongst all the doom and gloom on social media and in the news.

What’s made me happy this week?
Last Saturday I went out with a friend for tea and then on to watch bats at dusk with the local bat group. I loved seeing the bats and vegan Crème brûlée we had before was delicious!

My husband has used up another week of toil so we’ve been out walking again
I picked my sister up from the airport and she bought me lunch with a sea view! 😋

My boy has turned 18! How did that happen? We went out for cake and there will be more to follow with his friends at the weekend 😀

I had a lovely thank you tweet from Alice Feeney for my review and being part of the blog tour!! ☺️
I listened to some great podcasts 🎧

I watched a fun YouTube video with my boy 🎬
Wow I wasn’t expecting that to be so full of food!!
What’s made you happy this week?
Thank you for sharing your happy moments ❤️ I love your pics! They always make me travel a bit with you 🙂 Happy 18th to your son! You gave me cake envy!
Now I have to do something very fangirlish…
DAVIIIIIIIIIIIIIID! Can’t believe he’s gonna have his fifth child!
Thanks it was such a foodie post his week lol. Gosh Ididn’t realise he had so many children either, but 5 is a great number. I’m one of 5 and it’s lovely having so many siblings! 🙂
Food is always good! 😀 I’m an only child, but I’m close to his wife’s age, that’s why I’m so surprised they’re off to 5 already!
Wow!
See! 😀
😀
Drooling over that cake!
Which one?😂
Oh, I’m not picky! I’ll eat it all 🤣
🤣 🤣🤣
What a great week you’ve had! And what great food you have eaten! I’m eating noodles as we speak but I could to with that crème brûlée for dessert 😄
It’s been really wonderful and more cake to come tomorrow and Sunday!! 😀
Not the most healthy week probably but if you can’t have lots and lots of cake for an 18th birthday, when can you?! 😂 Enjoy, lovely!!
Agreed!! 😀
This post definitely made me hungry. Lovely photos!
Thanks 🙂
That creme brûlée looks delicious! Congrats on a wonderful week💜
Thanks it was yummy and made with coconut milk or cream instead of cow’s milk.
What a lovely post Nicki – all that food has made me hungry!
Thanks it certainly wasn’t planned!
We went out to see an improv comedy show. 🙂
Hope it was funny!
What a lovely week! Hope your son has a great birthday weekend!
Thanks he’s enjoying it so far 😀
Happy 18th to your boy! What a week you have had! ❤ xx
Thanks I can’t believe I’m the mother of an 18 year old! xx
Nor can I! I think it is a dream! I could be a mother to an 18 year old instead I have a 5 year old who thinks she is!! xx
🤣🤣🤣
Wow that’s a lot of delicious food! You are making my drool all over the keyboard haha. Also, the bat watching sounds like so much fun!
Ha Ha I didn’t realise it was going to be such a foodie post!!
So glad you had a great week and it makes me reflect on mine. First, that cake looks amazing and I did not have cake (that is good for me). I spent a couple of days with my grandchildren, volunteered at a local school, finally got my yard cleaned up, started watching Grace and Frankie (a Netflex series I have wanted to watch) and read a bunch of great books. Have an amazing weekend Nicki.
Sounds like a great week Carla, hope you’re weekend is going well!
Wow, you had a great week!!
I made a zippered pouch for my husband to keep his keys and phones in when he’s running about. That made me happy because I just recently taught myself how to use a sewing machine. 😊
Fantastic I wish I knew how to use a sewing machine!
YouTube is a wonderful thing. That’s how I’m learning. 😌
