January Wrap Up & Favourite Books of the Month

During January I read 3 books and listened to 6 audiobooks, making it a grand total of 9 books. To be honest I’m rather disappointed I didn’t manage 10, as I like it be a nice even number each month. 😀

Favourite Audiobooks

I absolutely loved these 3 audiobooks! You can read my reviews of Watching You and Anne of Green Gables if you missed them. I haven’t reviewed The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, because I might review the whole series when I’ve finished it.

Other Favourites

These two were really good. I’ve already reviewed Need To Know, but you’ll have to wait for my review of The Silent Patient, until the blog tour in a couple of weeks.

How was your January? Did you read or listen to any good books?

I managed to read 8 and that’s unusual for me, one a week is my usual, I read some excellent fiction from Zimbabwe and Iraq though, The Baghdad Clock was incredibly beautiful, all of them insightful, I love reading stories that come from elsewhere, that question the way we perceive things.

Ahh Narnia, these books bring back so many happy memories. We had storytume at primary school and the teacher used to read to us for the last half hour of the day. I have read them so many times and as an adult. They are brilliant books xx

Still a fabulous month though – despite the odd number! Silent Patient is next on my reading list! And just discovered that I have Year One on my Netgalley shelves – oops! – so hope to get to that soon!

Great month! I can’t wait to read The Silent Patient myself… And Need To Know and Watching You as well. Here’s to a wonderful February!
