Thursday’s Top 4: Books With No Romance

Top 4 Thursday is a bi-weekly meme hosted by Ally@Ally Writes Things.

I’ve just discovered this meme and thought it would be fun to join in with my Top 4 books with no romance. It was actually much harder than I thought it would be without choosing non-fiction titles.

What do you think of my choices? Which 4 would you have chosen?

  1. You are right even though I read loads of crime fiction there are often still elements of romance that sneak in! Good choices especially The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. I’m also going to go for a children’s book; Danny the Champion of the World, one of the best stories I can think of featuring a father and son.

  2. Ugh! I just wish we had more books without romance in them, right?! Right.

There are great picks. Hm. I’d probably end up with all children’s and middle-grade books…The Boxcar Children, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Giver, and A Wrinkle In Time?
