#BookReview – The Perfect Girlfriend by Karen Hamilton

cover125631-mediumJuliette loves Nate. She will follow him anywhere. She’s even become a flight attendant for his airline, so she can keep a closer eye on him.

They are meant to be.

The fact that Nate broke up with her six months ago means nothing. Because Juliette has a plan to win him back. She is the perfect girlfriend. And she’ll make sure no one stops her from getting exactly what she wants.

True love hurts, but Juliette knows it’s worth all the pain…

My Review

Wow what a wild ride this book was.

I do enjoy a story about people re-inventing themselves and Juliet was such a great character. In the beginning she was a very likeable character and I felt sorry for her. I loved her tenacity about getting her boyfriend Nate back, and admired her desire to give him some space, even though she desperately wanted to be with him.

Her character development was really good and very interesting as the plot progressed. I won’t say any more as I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone, but she knew what she wanted and she certainly wasn’t going to let anything, or anyone stop her from getting it.

If you enjoy books with unreliable narrators, you’re going to love this, and the subtle twist at the end was a very good one, that I hadn’t guessed at all.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Headline for my digital review copy.

Yay, I loved how absolutely crazy she was.. I shook my head more than once. It’s a bit over the top but the good kind :-). You might want to change your blogpost heading though. They do say what’s in a name.. but still :-).
