Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
Last week I mentioned that I was ‘trying to restrain myself from acquiring too many books’. Well, I forgot all about that this week when I entered the ‘book hut’ at Jersey Zoo. It’s an Aladdin’s Cave for book lovers, where all paperbacks are 50 pence and hardbacks £1 and all proceeds raised goes directly to the Zoo.
I was also received 2 copies of Perfect Victim by Corrie Jackson from two different sources, Nudge Books and Readers First. It’s a brilliant follow up to Breaking Dead that I read it in less than 24 hours.
I mustn’t forget those naughty NetGalley emails tempting me.
I also received a copy of The Burgas Affair courtesy of the author.
So, what have you been adding to your shelves lately?
Looks like you have a lot of reading to do! Can’t wait to read the reviews, some of these look VERY good!!!

You’ve got so much restraint and they’re so cheap! Claire Douglas is one of my fav authors (and I know you like her too ;-)) so I look forward to the review of The Sisters! You’ve got some other interesting titles added as well.. Corrie Jackson is an unknown author to me, if she’s written two great books now I should definitely look into her :-). Happy reading!

I was very restrained but I might go back again next week and see what else I can find. 😁

I absolutely love the thought of a book hut where the proceeds benefit the zoo ❤ I am trying to refrain from purchases at the moment. I am doing well aside from a few Kindle deals on some poetry that I picked up 😉

It’s a great idea raising over £8,000 last year 😊
