TEASER TUESDAYS is a weekly book meme hosted at The Purple Booker. To participate, just open the book you are currently reading to a random page, and choose two ‘teaser’ sentences from somewhere on that page. (no spoilers!)
I confessed to Profile books on Twitter last week, that I’d never read anything by Ruth Rendell. I won this lovely hardback copy of “A Spot of Folly, Ten and a Quarter New Tales of Murder and Mayhem”.
My teaser from page 38:
“I murdered Brenda Goring for what I suppose is the most unusual of motives. She came between me and my wife.”
That has certainly intrigued me, what about you?
Hook, line and sinker 😄

I’ve been a Ruth Rendell fan for a long time but I don’t remember this collection – as I intrigued? Yes I am!!

I’ve never read Ruth Rendell myself but it’s certainly an intriguing line. I’ve never tried this meme either but it seems so fun I think I might try it 🙂
